RM, a member of the group BTS, revealed that he had been fooled by a poetic spam text message.

On the 2nd, RM posted a screenshot of a text message on his social media (SNS) and wrote, “Spam these days is practically literature.”

The message released was a spam text that began with the subject line ‘Let us start with a light run without strain’. It was filled with a delicate, sentimental tone that could make readers mistake it for a message from an acquaintance, including lines such as ‘I hope warm happiness and bright smiles are always with you throughout December’ and ‘At the comfort that spreads like a gentle tremor, the heart that had been standing still finds its rhythm again’, drawing attention.

He then added with a laugh, “Knowing I like running, I get excited by the preview line every time and get hooked again.”

Meanwhile, on October 29 in Gyeongju, at the APEC CEO Summit culture session, RM delivered a keynote address as the first K-pop singer to do so, showcasing his qualities as a global artist. Since being discharged in June, RM has been pursuing solo activities while also preparing for BTS’s full-group comeback. BTS, the group to which RM belongs, is working on a new album with a comeback targeted for next spring.
