Comedian Ji Sang-Ryeol revealed that he is dating show host Shin Bo-ram, who is 16 years his junior.
On the KBS2 ‘Men Who Do Housework Season 2’ (hereinafter ‘Mr. House Husband 2’) that aired on the 29th, when MCs Eun Ji-won and Lee Yo-won and cast member Park Seo-jin asked about his relationship with Shin Bo-ram, he said, “ ‘We are dating’ itself feels awkward,” adding, “We are meeting warmly and getting along well.”
To the question, ‘Do you keep in touch often?’, Ji Sang-Ryeol answered, “Since she also does live broadcasts, I ask first, ‘Are you able to talk?’, and then I contact her.” He also responded to the question, ‘Have you met the parents of Shin Bo-ram?’, saying, “Her parents run a samgyetang restaurant,” even mentioning the restaurant menu.
Earlier in August on ‘Mr. House Husband 2’, Ji Sang-Ryeol revealed the process of going on a blind date with Shin Bo-ram through an introduction by his colleague Yeom Kyung-hwan. Yeom, who works as a show host, said he came to know Shin while appearing on broadcasts together.
Ji Sang-Ryeol, who debuted in 1996 as part of the 5th cohort of comedians hired through SBS open recruitment, formed ‘Keulnom’ in 1999 with his high school classmate Yeom Kyung-hwan and made a name for himself as a comedy duo.
Since then, Ji Sang-Ryeol has been active on various entertainment programs, offering laughs with his inventive talk on popular shows such as MBC ‘Sebakwi’, ‘Infinite Challenge’, and ‘Radio Star’. He has also appeared as an actor in the dramas ‘Dae Jang Geum’ and ‘Yi San’, and in the film ‘The Art of Seduction’.
