Singer Kim Jang-hoon directly addressed rumors of discord with Psy.

Appearing as the guest that day, Kim Jang-hoon showcased his undiminished wit and a renewed peak. Park Myung-soo mentioned the past concert-related feud rumors, saying, “ I will ask just one thing I am personally curious about. You fought with Psy, right? You have made up now and are on good terms, right?”

In response, Kim Jang-hoon said candidly, “It is true we fought, and we reconciled. I called first.” Park Myung-soo asked, “What did Jae-sang (Psy) say?” Kim Jang-hoon said, “A long time ago, a very long time ago, I called and said, ‘Jae-sang, this older brother is at fault for everything.In a way. I truly want you to do really well, and let us have a soju together someday.’ Jae-sang said he was grateful. That said, we do not keep in frequent contact or see each other (currently).”

Park Myung-soo advised, “There were various twists and turns, but now shake all of that off,” and Kim Jang-hoon revealed his honest feelings, saying, “At the time, we were both only thinking from our own positions, so I now think, ‘I suppose he could have done that to me.’”

Previously, the two founded a concert planning company in 2009 and, with their joint concert ‘Wantachi’, recorded annual revenue of 10 billion won, being called the ‘Gods of Performance’ and achieving major success. However, as Psy rose to world stardom with ‘Gangnam Style’, tensions resurfaced, and rumors of discord grew after Kim Jang-hoon claimed that his stage-direction know-how and staff had been borrowed for the overseas activities of Psy and his Heumbbeok show. In October 2012, when the conflict peaked amid revelations on SNS by Kim Jang-hoon, he went up on stage without notice at an event of Psy and apologized, saying, “Forgive your narrow-minded older brother,” and the two achieved a dramatic reconciliation by performing a ‘love shot’ as they shared soju on stage.
