Singer Sung Si-kyung opened up about how he feels after suffering fraud by his former manager.
On the 3rd, a video titled ‘Sung Si-kyung's Meogeultende l Hannam-dong Apgujeong Jinju (with.Park Seo-joon)’ was released on Sung Si-kyung's YouTube channel ‘Sung Si Kyung SUNG SI KYUNG’. In the video, actor Park Seo-joon, who is returning to the small screen on the 6th via JTBC ‘Gyeongdo-reul Gidarimyeo’, appeared to share a meal and conversation with Sung Si-kyung.

That day, Sung Si-kyung began, “I usually like people easily and trust easily.” He continued, “Various things have made me a bit more cautious,” bringing to mind the recent fraudulent acts by his former manager.
Recently, it became known that Sung Si-kyung suffered financial damage at the hands of a former manager with whom he had worked for over 10 years. On the 3rd of last month, his agency SK Jaewon Co. stated, “It has been confirmed that the former manager of Sung Si-kyung engaged in acts that betrayed the company trust while employed.”
The manager was familiar to fans, as he appeared with Sung Si-kyung on variety shows and often featured in YouTube content, which made it even more shocking. The agency said, “Based on our internal inquiry, we recognize the seriousness of the matter and are verifying the exact scope of the damage,” and added, “The employee in question has now left the company.”

He went on, “It is the first time an actor personally asked for the main OST of his own drama,” and expressed gratitude to Park Seo-joon, who recommended him so he could sing the OST for ‘Gyeongdo-reul Gidarimyeo’, adding, “In the midst of something so difficult, this felt to me like a good lottery ticket.”

Hearing this, Park Seo-joon said, “There is a saying I believe in,” and continued, “Before very good things come, there are very hard things,” offering words of comfort. He added, “So even when the articles came out, I did not reach out in particular. I just wanted to meet today and say, ‘Since there will be good things ahead, it was filtered well beforehand,’” which moved Sung Si-kyung.
