The group VERIVERY (Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung, Kangmin) is aiming for another leap. They have gained new wings on the cable channel Mnet show ‘Boys Planet 2’. Now it is time for them to take flight.
On the 1st, VERIVERY released the fourth single ‘Lost and Found’, opening chapter two of their group activities.
It is a special moment for VERIVERY. Their previous album was the seventh mini album ‘Liminality – EP.DREAM’, released in May 2023, so this new record comes after two years and seven months. In an idol market that puts out new-concept singles or EPs on a quarterly basis, more than two years without a new release must have felt like silence not only for the members but also for the fandom ‘Verrer’.

Changes also came for the members. There were announcements of activity pauses for health reasons, and a gap occurred when the leader enlisted. As concern grew that a red light had turned on for team activities, they chose a new breakthrough: deciding to compete on ‘Boys Planet 2’ in their seventh year since debut.
In May, Dongheon, Gyehyeon, and Kangmin suspended activities citing personal schedules and secretly joined ‘Boys Planet 2’. Unfortunately, all were eliminated, but by taking part in every mission with greater earnestness than any other contestants, they earned recognition for the sincerity of their musical activities.
In particular, Kangmin was said to have been rediscovered through ‘Boys Planet 2’. He received favorable reviews for his performance in each mission and made it to the final, gradually increasing his recognition and drawing some of the strongest support among the contestants. Even the moment he was eliminated, finishing ninth, became a narrative for him and his fans. Thanks to the lingering resonance, the spotlight focused even more on Kangmin and it became the fuse that set VERIVERY’s new activities in motion.

Their earnestness is reflected in this album as well. Their heartfelt longing for the stage permeates the album with the sentiment of ‘han’. In the title track ‘Red (Beggin’)’ (RED:Beggin’), the lyrics convey a strong determination to survive amid countless setbacks and trials. The chorus “Let me bloom/ Just once, I will try for myself/ Bloom/ Fate is merely a disguise/ Even if everything is lost, we will survive” sounds like the members’ resolve as they enter VERIVERY’s second act.
These wishes are expected to be realized one by one. Starting with a Seoul fan meeting on the 8th, they went on to hold fan meetings in Hong Kong on November 16 and in Japan on the 24th, and then on the 29th member Kangmin successfully held a solo fan meeting in Shanghai, ‘2025 Kangmin Fan Meeting in Shanghai Yoo Got Me’ (KANGMIN FANMEETING IN SHANGHAI Yoo Got Me ·). On the 21st, Kangmin will hold a solo fan meeting in Beijing, ‘Yoo Kangmin Fan Meeting in Beijing’ (YOOKANGMIN FANMEETING IN BEIJING).
Furthermore, on Saturday, January 3 next year, at The Theatre at Mediacorp in Singapore, and on Sunday, January 18, at Kaohsiung Live Warehouse in Taiwan, they will hold ‘2026 VERIVERY FANMEETING ‘Hello VERI Long Time’’. In addition to comeback music stages, they plan a wide range of activities, including appearances on YouTube content, photo shoots, and fan meetings.
