The Netflix original ‘Physical: Asia’ is returning with a spin-off.

The spin-off version of ‘Physical: Asia’, ‘Physical: Welcome to Mongolia’, is a special physical friendship travelogue in which the Mongolian team, which fiercely faced the Korean team in the final, now invites their Korean teammates to their ‘home, Mongolia’.

It follows Mongolian team captain Erkhengbayar, who vowed to invite the Korean team to Mongolia, and Korean team captain Kim Dong-hyun, who said he would visit Mongolia after winning, as they meet again in Mongolia to keep their promises. It further expands the universe of ‘Physical: Asia’, which captivated viewers around the world, and is drawing great anticipation.

The cast includes Kim Dong-hyun and Amotti from the Korean team, and Erkhengbayar and Ochir from the Mongolian team, among others. In particular, as the Netflix original ‘Physical: Asia’ has established itself as a national favorite in Mongolia and sparked a craze, curiosity about this spin-off is also mounting.

Through a travel schedule personally arranged by Mongolian traditional wrestling champion Erkhengbayar, it will showcase a ‘real Mongolian-style’ triprather than the images commonly seen in Mongolian contentfeaturing places where real Mongolians go to have fun and the beloved eateries they seek out. A variety of sights will also be revealed, from special training methods taught by Erkhengbayar to Mongolia’s vast grasslands where a thousand horses run free.

Ochir, a member of ‘Cirque du Soleil’ and an actor active in Mongolia, is set to present homemade Mongolian cuisine prepared at home to his friends, drawing interest in what it will taste like. In addition, a special guest who will surprise everyone is expected to join, further heightening curiosity about their identity.

In the teaser for ‘Physical: Welcome to Mongolia’ released on the 3rd through Netflix and the official SNS of the YouTube channel Teo, Kim Dong-hyun and Amotti are seen having a video call with Ochir ahead of their trip to Mongolia, drawing attention.

In the video, Ochir hints, “Erkhengbayar is putting together a very cool plan. You can ride horses and even do archery,” while adding excitement by inviting the Korean team to his home. Expressing regret about the short schedule, Kim Dong-hyun and Amotti joked, “Let us have fun without sleeping for 24 hours,” “Sleep next year,” eliciting laughter.

There is growing anticipation for how a colorful, truly Mongolian tripso packed that even 24 hours are not enoughwill unfold, as well as for the special chemistry between the two teams that can only be seen in the ‘Physical: Asia’ spin-off.

‘Physical: Welcome to Mongolia’ consists of a total of four episodes, with episodes 1~2 to be released on Netflix on the 24th. Episodes 3~4 will be available on the 31st.
