Actor Kim Go-eun revealed that the short haircut that drew attention last year was her own choice.

At 4:35 p.m. on the 3rd, a press conference for the Netflix drama ‘The Price of Confession’ was held at CGV Yongsan in Seoul. In attendance were director Lee Jung-hyo, along with actors Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Go-eun, and Park Hae-soo.

Previously, Kim Go-eun drew attention last year with a bold short-cut style. However, she herself suggested cutting her hair short while preparing for this project.

Kim Go-eun recalled, “When I met with the director, I looked up reference photos and asked, ‘I want to cut my hair this short,’” adding, “The director was a little taken aback.”

She added, “On the day of the test shoot with Jeon Do-yeon, I saw the two of us standing side by side, and watching that, I thought, ‘Cutting my hair was really the right call.’”

The Netflix series ‘The Price of Confession’ is a mystery thriller depicting events that unfold between ‘Yoon-su’ (Jeon Do-yeon), who is framed as a suspect in her husband’s murder, and ‘Mo-eun’ (Kim Go-eun), an enigmatic figure known as a witchtwo women with many secrets. It has been garnering buzz even before its release for its provocative subject matter and unique atmosphere.

‘The Price of Confession’ will be released on Netflix on the 5th.
