At the time, spokesperson Park made a series of remarks toward Representative Kim, including: “Literally, even if one were seized by an organ-harvesting crime ring and had organs removed, it could be said to have been done legally” “It is a package in which local governments hospitalize people in psychiatric institutions and remove organs without family consent” “It is treating assistance for a person with a disability as an escort accessory.”
Gamdongran likewise made high-intensity remarks, saying: “Kim Ye-ji should be thankful that she is actually disabled, ○bal” “If Kim Ye-ji could see straight with both eyes, I do not know how far I would have gone with cursing” “Because she is disabled, because she is ○jib, we are doing this much.”
She also continued to demean and insult persons with disabilities and Representative Kim, saying, “If it had been a man without a disability, this ○er would really be dead” “Whether those eyes can see or not, it is about wanting to get into the People Power Party through that disability quota.”
Representative Kim has already filed a complaint against spokesperson Park. On the 17th, Representative Kim told the Kyunghyang Shinmun, “Judging that it is dangerous for a person holding a public position as a party media spokesperson to make inappropriate remarks and spread false information about those remarks, I decided to pursue legal action.”
People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyeok also issued a stern warning regarding spokesperson Park and is said to have urged all party officials, including the spokesperson team, to exercise particular caution in words and actions.
