Actor Jang Do-ha will appear in the new tvN SaturdaySunday drama ‘Undercover Miss Hong’.

His agency Salt Entertainment said, “Actor Jang Do-ha will appear in the new tvN SaturdaySunday drama ‘Undercover Miss Hong’ as ‘Lee Yong-gi’. As a Crisis Management Office manager who is a former genius engineering PhD and a cute, pure nerd character, he is expected to inject energy into the show, so please send much interest and support.”

‘Undercover Miss Hong’ is a retro office comedy set at the end of the 1990s, in which Hong Geum-bo (Park Shin-hye), an elite inspector in her 30s at the Securities Supervisory Agency, goes undercover as a 20-year-old entry-level employee at a securities company where the flow of suspicious funds has been detected, and a series of mishaps ensues.

Jang Do-ha plays ‘Lee Yong-gi’, a manager in the Crisis Management Office at Hanmin Securities who stands at the center of the case. With the unique background of being a genius engineering PhD who took part in the first cyber banking project, Lee Yong-gi admires Geum-bo after joining the same team and, before he knows it, gets swept up in her scheme. Jang Do-ha is determined to showcase a disarming charm through a character whose cute, pure looks belie an unexpected background.

After debuting as the captivating bodyguard ‘Gyeol’ in the JTBC drama ‘My Country’, Jang Do-ha left a strong impression in the tvN series ‘Shooting Stars’, the web drama ‘We Are Not Trash’, and the SBS drama ‘Judge from Hell’. In the recently concluded hit JTBC series ‘The Story of Manager Kim Who Owns a Home in Seoul and Works at a Major Company’, he made a surprise appearance as the husband of crew foreman Lee Joo-young (Jung Eun-chae), drawing attention.

Directed by Park Sun-ho, who has helmed ‘Suspicious Partner’, ‘Greasy Melo’, ‘Business Proposal’, and ‘Drunken Romance’, and written by Moon Hyun-kyung, the writer of the drama ‘The Ballot’, ‘Undercover Miss Hong’ is drawing even more anticipation thanks to its lineup of trusted actors Park Shin-hye, Go Kyung-pyo, Ha Yoon-kyung, Jo Han-gyeol, and Jang Do-ha, and is slated to air next month.
