Disney animation ‘Zootopia 2’ was chosen as the film people most want to see.
Data consulting firm PMI announced on the 5th the results of its first-week-of-December survey ‘The film people most want to see next week’. The survey was conducted among 5,000 men and women in their 20s to 50s.
‘Zootopia 2’ ranked No. 1 with 16.5%. As of the 5th, it is maintaining the No. 1 spot at the box office according to the Korean Film Council integrated computer network. Cumulative admissions have surpassed 2.6 million. It tells the story of rabbit police officer Judy and fox police officer Nick tracking a reptilian criminal.
‘Now You See Me 3’ placed second with 12.7%. It is currently No. 6 at the box office. It follows the magician group the Four Horsemen as they dig into the crimes of a giant chaebol family.
‘Informant’ came in third with 12.0%. It is ranked No. 4 at the box office. It is a crime-action comedy about a former detective and a swindler taking on a crime organization.
‘National Treasure’ is fourth with 9.2%. It is a drama about the son of a violent gang who grows into a kabuki actor.
Also on the list were ‘Masters of the World’ (9.2%), ‘Wicked: For Good’ (8.6%), and ‘Concrete Market’ (7.5%). The survey’s sampling error is ±1.39%p at the 95% confidence level.
