The clumsy Six Sense members were once again outsmarted by the meticulous production team.
In episode 6 of tvN ‘Sixth Sense: City Tour 2’ (directed by Jung Cheol-Min, Park Sang-Eun), which aired on Thursday the 4th, the Six Sense members, together with guest Davichi, hit hot spots in Yongsan, Seoul and delivered cheerful energy, yet once again failed to find the fake and fell into the quagmire of a fifth loss.
The city tour themed ‘A Boss’s Double Life in Yongsan’ surprised the members right from the first encounter, ‘You Also Do This(?), Boss?’. Before the race began in earnest, the owner of a yogurt cafe turned up as the owner of a barbecue restaurant, and the menu item of pork skirt steak aged in yogurt with large scallions was unfamiliar. The taste was excellent, but Kang Min-Kyung, a Yongsan resident and self-professed social media addict, grew suspicious of a menu she had never seen.
The trot singer and barbecue restaurant owner from Jeju, ‘JEJU Many Boss’, had photos on display, including with Song Ga-In and from when he took part in a trot audition, proving he was a trot singer. In addition, matcha galbitang, a combination of the currently trending matcha and short rib soup, especially suited Yoo Jae-Seok and Ji Suk-Jin, who showed a warm rapport for the first time in a while. The lunchtime company dinner skit that started with the two ended with a twist that Yoo Jae-Seok was a superior to Ji Suk-Jin, drawing laughs.
Lastly, the ‘acting-filled barbecue owner’ turned out to be actor Hong Ju-Hyung, who appeared in dramas ‘Big Mouth’ and ‘The Awesome Troubleshooter’, and had a connection with Go Kyung-Pyo through a project titled ‘Cross’, which piqued interest. Although it was possible he had been cast as an actor to deceive the members, after directly watching the process of cooking ghee butter steak and marveling at the taste, the members showed an unprecedented level of trust. However, because it was so perfect that it felt staged, Kang Min-Kyung switched her stance and judged it fake.

In the end, by majority vote, the members made a final choice of the ‘You Also Do This(?), Boss?’ who runs both a yogurt cafe and a barbecue place selling pork skirt aged in yogurt as the fake. However, the fake was ‘JEJU Many Boss’, which matched Mimi’s intuition and elicited groans. To help the young owner struggling with the recession and the lunch menu, matcha galbitang was created with help from Chef Kim Do-Woon.
Moreover, in keeping with the theme ‘A Boss’s Double Life in Yongsan’ and the owner’s traits, they added a trot singer setup and even created a song written and composed by AI. They even obtained permission from Kim So-You and Song Ga-In of ‘Miss Trot’ to use photos and composited them, and met Hong Ja in person to take a selfie, revealing a process that once again amazed viewers with the production team’s scale. In addition, the SNS sentimental post penalty randomly drawn by Lee Hae-Ri went to Kang Min-Kyung.
With Yoo Jae-Seok, Ji Suk-Jin, Go Kyung-Pyo, and Mimi holding a record of six rounds with one win and five losses, anticipation is building as episode 7 of tvN ‘Sixth Sense: City Tour 2’ at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday the 11th is awaited.
