Having confirmed each other’s feelings the night before, Lee Kang and Park Dal-i basked in happiness, spending sweet days together as true lovers. In particular, after confirming that their souls would swap if their blood mixed in water, the mysterious relationship between blood and water piqued curiosity.
On top of that, after hearing from Lee Woon (Lee Shin-young) that he intended to propose to Kim Woo-hee (Hong Soo-joo), Lee Kang decided to hold a wedding with Park Dal-i. Preparing wedding gifts and flower shoes, Lee Kang moved Park Dal-i deeply with a surprise flower-road event.
At Lee Kang’s proposal, “Will you become my wife?”, Park Dal-i happily accepted, and the two held their wedding amid warm blessings from those around them. At the moment when Lee Kang’s dream of living with the woman he loves and Park Dal-i’s dream of strolling leisurely in flower shoes came true, the flower of destiny blooming between them also turned crimson.
However, for the complete happiness of Lee Kang and Park Dal-i, Left State Councilor Kim Han-cheol had to be brought down. While tracking the Choraengi mask that had raised the jimjo in the cave, Lee Kang uncovered the link connecting the culprit of the Gyesa Year incident, Kim Han-cheol, and the jimjo, and set out with Lee Woon to verify it.
At the same time, Kim Han-cheol was plotting to turn Park Dal-i into Crown Princess Kang Yeon-wol (Kim Sejeong) and eliminate her. Pressuring King Lee Hee, Kim Han-cheol dragged Park Dal-i to the Chuguk Hall and, using the false confession of Mi-geum (Kim Ye-won), the niece of the Chief Court Lady, as evidence, tried to frame Park Dal-i as the mastermind behind the jimjo case. Unwilling to simply suffer in silence, Park Dal-i probed the holes in Mi-geum’s words, and when Mi-geum’s testimony about the jimjo was revealed as false, Park Dal-i’s innocence naturally came to light.
Just then, having discovered a connecting passage between the cave where the jimjo was hidden and Kim Han-cheol’s house, Lee Kang appeared at the Chuguk Hall, putting Park Dal-i at ease. Presenting the evidence he had found, Lee Kang saw Kim Han-cheol ultimately escorted to prison on charges of treason. As the end of their long-awaited revenge drew near, Lee Kang and Park Dal-i looked at each other, shared their joy, and felt even more gratified.
Meanwhile, since the seal on Hong-yeon was released, Park Dal-i has been in turmoil, plagued by nightmares of Kang Yeon-wol’s memories. As curiosity builds over whether Park Dal-i’s memories will return, King Lee Hee suddenly shocks everyone with an unexpected order: “Sohun, no, kill the bin-gung,” meaning to kill Park Dal-i. With Kim Han-cheol’s downfall now anticipated, attention is focused on the background of the order and why the king must kill Park Dal-i.
Episode 10 of MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Moon Flows Over Igang’, which will reveal what lies ahead for Kim Sejeong as she gradually regains her memory, airs today (the 6th) at 9:40 p.m.
