On KBS dating reality ‘Noona Is a Woman to Me’, the older woman Goo Bon-hee is seen wrestling with her feelings after the straightforward confessions of two younger men, Kim Mujin and Kim Sang-hyun.

On the older-woman/younger-man real romance ‘Noona Is a Woman to Me’ airing on the 8th, Goo Bon-hee and Kim Mujin are each swept up in complicated emotions. After learning that Kim Sang-hyun is interested in Bon-hee, to whom he himself had expressed interest, Mujin wondered what the two had talked about during the day. In the end, Mujin sought out Bon-hee and asked to talk, expressing regret, saying, “I also wanted to go on a date, but I keep being unable to go out.”

Then Mujin asked, “Is there someone you are curious about?”, probing Bon-hee’s true feelings, but she held back and could not answer easily. Jang Woo-young also marveled, “He could be feeling rushed because of Sang-hyun now, but he is relaxed. The phrase ‘I was lucky’ is a very common line, yet he makes it sound like a confession.”

When Mujin brought up forms of address by asking, “Do you dislike being called ‘noona’?”, Bon-hee answered, “I think calling me by name is better.” Han Hye-jin sympathized with Bon-hee’s response, saying, “‘Noona’ is not for me,” but Hwang Woo Seul-hye countered, “‘Noona’ is good,” showing that even among the older women, preferences split. Subin took the ‘noona camp’ position, saying, “Shouldn’t you of course say ‘noona’?”, while Jang Woo-young appealed that he is ‘tailor-made’, saying, “Anything is possible depending on what makes the other person comfortable.” Bon-hee, on the other hand, revealed her worries: “’Noona’ made it feel real for the first time. It had simply been nice and fun, but for the first time I started having many thoughts about Mujin. Will it be okay when he learns my age?”
