KBS2 weekend miniseries ‘Last Summer’
A new twist emerges in Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun’s romantic plan.
In the finale of the KBS2 Saturday-Sunday miniseries ‘Last Summer’ (directed by Min Yeon-hong / written by Jeon Yu-ri / produced by Monster Union and Slingshot Studio), airing at 9:20 p.m. on the 7th, an unexpected person appears before Do-ha (played by Lee Jae-wook) and Song Ha-gyeong (Choi Sung-eun), who had planned to spend time alone to celebrate Baek Do-ha’s birthday.
Earlier, it was revealed that the negative public opinion about Pattan High School’s observatory remodeling project began with a scheme by Jeon Nam-jin (Ahn Chang-hwan). Do-ha, Ha-gyeong, and the people of Pattan handed Nam-jin and those who aided him over to the police. Having cleared that hurdle, Do-ha and Ha-gyeong switched back into lovey-dovey mode, making viewers’ hearts flutter.
In the stills, however, contrary to Do-ha and Ha-gyeong’s wish for some cozy time alone, a bustling home scene is captured. Do-ha remains calm even though his plans with Ha-gyeong have gone awry, while Ha-gyeong looks visibly flustered, eyes wide like a startled rabbit during the meal. The ones who break the couple’s romantic mood are none other than Do-ha’s parents, Baek Gi-ho (Choi Byung-mo) and Nam Hye-min (Woo Hyun-joo). Whether they realize how disappointed the couple is or not, Gi-ho and Hye-min pop in with radiant smiles, sure to spark laughter.
However, it’s not only Do-ha’s parents who visit the Peanut House, drawing attention. Ha-gyeong was reportedly startled by the appearance of an unexpected person. Curiosity mounts over who that person might be.
Another photo shows Do-ha’s family and Ha-gyeong seated around the same table. Blending like one family and catching up, their relaxed atmosphere gives off a warm vibe. Attention turns to how the warm dinner that follows the lively commotion will adorn the drama’s final moments.
