The idol group NEXZ won the ‘Best New Artist’ award at the 10th-anniversary AAA 2025.
NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Huey, Yuki) received the ‘Best New Artist’ award at the 10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025 (AAA 2025), held on the 6th at Kaohsiung National Stadium.
Holding the trophy, NEXZ said, “We are truly delighted to receive an honorable award at such a wonderful venue. In particular, we were able to receive this award thanks to NEX2Y (fandom name: NEX2Y). NEX2Y! Thank you sincerely, and we love you. Empowered by your support, we will do our best to become even better artists.”
Proving their credentials as a ‘stage powerhouse’, NEXZ also delivered a top-tier performance on this stage. Appearing among the audience as boxers, NEXZ turned the stadium into a giant boxing ring and heightened the atmosphere with fierce gazes, dynamic movement, and high-difficulty tumbling.

To the title track ‘Beat-Boxer’ from their third mini album released in October, the members electrified the venue with their own group beat. Showcasing solid live performance, the seven members’ energy sent the audience into a frenzy, drawing attention to NEXZ as a ‘global act to watch’.
After releasing the first comeback of the year, ‘O-RLY?’, in April with the aspiration, “We want to convey the color and charm of NEXZ and show ourselves as ‘all-rounders’,” NEXZ has been steadily moving toward its goals. With the second mini album ‘O-RLY?’ and the third mini album in October, ‘Beat-Boxer’, they topped major domestic digital and physical charts such as Bugs, Hanteo Chart, and Circle Chart, and they built peak moments by successfully holding their first domestic fan meeting and concert, as well as their first live tour since debut.
