Comedian Park Mi-sun has finally shaved her head.

On the 7th, the YouTube channel ‘I am Park Mi-sun’ uploaded a video titled “[Wise Life with Illness-2] Saying Goodbye to My Hair.” The video released that day showed Park Mi-sun undergoing her second round of chemotherapy. First, Park Mi-sun went to a hair salon to cut her hair.

Park Mi-sun explained, “Before going for my second chemotherapy, I plan to cut my hair this morning. Because hair may fall out or may not, but if it does, it is tiring in many ways, so I will just cut it today and go to the hospital for the second round.”

Arriving at the salon, she confided, “I had always wanted to try shaving my head once. So I had thought about buying a wig.”

After shaving, Park Mi-sun left some length on top while trimming the sides and back short. She smiled, saying, “I have become a handsome guy. I am a completely new person.”

However, on day two of the second round of chemotherapy, hair began to fall out in clumps. She could not hide her bewilderment, saying, “I cannot handle this. The pillow and everything.” In the end, Park Mi-sun decided to cut her hair short, and this time she cut the top short as well. She then put on a wig and pulled a beanie over it, completely hiding the short hair.

But on day nine of the second round of chemotherapy, Park Mi-sun could not endure and chose to shave her head. “So much fell outso much that the drain was clogged with hair (fell out),” she said, adding, “With faint stubble, like a Buddhist nun.” As she said, this time she left no hair at all and shaved it completely.

Seeing this, her daughter drew attention by saying, “You look like Furiosa from Mad Max.”
