As TV personality Park Na-rae stands at the center of successive controversies, ranging from assaulting a former manager to illegal medical practices, past remarks by webtoon artist Kian84 are being revisited.

On August 13, appearing on the YouTube channel ‘Narae-sik’, Kian84 cautiously revealed concerns about the people around Park Na-rae, saying, “Do you not often introduce your acquaintances? You say, Older brother, this person is from somewhere and does such-and-such, great! They must be good people,” and, “Ah, I have that sense; I can slightly smell a sajja (con artist), I am good at picking that up,” to begin his point.

He continued, “Of course, it could be that I did not see it well. It could be that I was mistaken,” while also pointing out, “But there are too many of those people around you.”

Park Na-rae appeared to agree, saying, “There were people like that.”

Kian84 concluded with words of encouragement: “Anyway, you have gone through a lot. You took a lot of criticism. Be steadfast and move forward, Park Na-rae, like grass that grows even when trampled again and again.”

Previously, Park Na-rae was engulfed in allegations of power abuse raised by former managers, including verbal abuse, aggravated assault, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid production expenses, as well as allegations of illegal medical procedures involving a person known as ‘Injection Auntie’.

Doctors Seeking a Fair Society (Gonguimo) urged an investigation, calling the person a “graduate of a non-existent ghost medical school,” and as the controversy spread, Park Na-rae announced a suspension of activities.

Meanwhile, regarding the video, netizens reacted, “If Kian would say that much in front of the camera, imagine how much he must have said in private,” “Kian84 even said on air twice that there are many con artists around Park Na-rae,” and “Now I understand why Kian kept his distance.”
