Following Park Na-rae, Jo Se-ho also announced a temporary halt to his broadcasting activities. With the two TV personalities caught up in personal matters and choosing the same path in succession, warning lights have come on in the entertainment industry.

On the 9th, Jo Se-ho’s agency A2Z Entertainment announced, “Mr. Jo Se-ho will step down from tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ and KBS 2TV’s ‘2 Days & 1 Night’.”

It continued, “Mr. Jo Se-ho feels deep responsibility for the misunderstandings and controversy that have recently arisen around him,” adding, “First, Mr. Jo is fully aware of the discomfort felt by viewers who love these programs. He also does not want the production staff, who create the shows with blood, sweat, and tears, to carry any burden due to the attention directed at him. In consultation with the production teams, he has therefore decided to voluntarily step down.”

The agency also stated, “Mr. Jo Se-ho and our company intend to respond to this matter with greater rigor,” and added, “In order to dispel the misunderstandings surrounding Mr. Jo and to restore his tarnished image, we will pursue legal action more swiftly and firmly going forward. We promise to completely clear all current suspicions and return in good health.”

The agency emphasized, “As stated in our previous official position, Mr. Jo Se-ho has nothing whatsoever to do with Mr. Choi’s business, which is the subject of the allegations,” and added, “We once again make clear that the claim he received money or valuables from Mr. Choi for the purpose of promoting the business is plainly untrue.”

Earlier, TV personality Park Na-rae, who has been facing controversy over alleged power abuse and suspicions of illegal medical procedures following revelations by former managers, also announced on the 8th that she would suspend her broadcasting activities.
