Jang Wonyoung of the group IVE proved her Asian princess credentials at ‘10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025 (10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025, hereafter 10th AAA 2025)’.
At ‘10th AAA 2025’, held recently at Kaohsiung National Stadium, Jang Wonyoung captured a triple crown by taking home the ‘AAA Asia Celebrity’, the ‘Symbol of AAA’, and the ‘AAA Grand Presence of K-pop’ awards.
Through Starship Entertainment, she shared, “It is already an honor to be able to stand as an MC at ‘AAA’ for five consecutive years like this, and I am so grateful and happy to receive three deeply meaningful awards among so many artists. Knowing the weight of the awards I have received so as not to fall short, I will always put my heart into the path I want to take and act carefully as an artist. I believe these awards were made by everyone who loves me and IVE, and I will work even harder to show many good sides, so please continue to look forward to and support me.”
That day, beyond the awards, Jang Wonyoung also drew attention with hosting that shone in her fifth consecutive year as MC. Opening the stage with a special performance alongside co-MC Lee Junho, she created a fairy-tale scene with an elegant waltz performance and raised the curtain on ‘10th AAA 2025’ in spectacular fashion.
Throughout the ceremony, Jang Wonyoung firmly anchored the live broadcast with relaxed and fluent hosting. In particular, through the “Wonyoung’s Star News” corner, she went directly to the artists’ section to conduct relay interviews with those on site. With quick-witted reactions and easygoing conversation, she drew out a range of answers from artists and enriched the broadcast, and by mimicking catchphrases or offering playful ad-libs, she brought smiles with her signature bright energy. In addition, with her fluent English, Jang Wonyoung communicated with global artists and fostered greater interaction with more audience members, delivering seamless hosting.
Alongside this, Jang Wonyoung moved hearts by delivering heartfelt acceptance speeches for her three awards. Upon receiving the ‘Symbol of AAA’, she said, “I am grateful to be able to greet the year-end with ‘AAA’ for five consecutive years. It is a night when every encounter feels grateful,” leaving a lingering resonance of the past five years. After winning the ‘Asia Celebrity’, she added, “On such a meaningful day, I felt even more thankful to be here. I will always know the path I want to take and act carefully so as not to fall short of the title of ‘Asia Celebrity’,” drawing attention once again.
Having served as an ‘AAA’ MC for five consecutive years since 2021, Jang Wonyoung added to the occasion’s significance by leading the ceremony with even more brilliant activity as ‘AAA’ marked its 10th anniversary. With a solo triple crown in hand and a forecast of unceasing ascent, expectations are high for Jang Wonyoung’s path ahead.
Meanwhile, IVE, the group Jang Wonyoung belongs to, won three trophies at this ‘10th AAA 2025’: the Grand Prize ‘Song of the Year’, ‘AAA Best K-pop Record’, and ‘AAA Best Artist’. Through their second world tour ‘SHOW WHAT I AM’, they are expected to continue performances in a range of countries, including the Kyocera Dome Osaka stage in Japan in April, as well as across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
