The financial investment platform Wolgeupjaengi Bujadeul (CEO Lee Jeong-hwan) said on the 10th that it has introduced a real estate brokerage fee payment system to its proptech solution ‘Guhaejwo Naejip’.
Wolgeupjaengi Bujadeul has commercialized, for the first time in Korea, card and easy-payment functionality for brokerage fees through its own platform. The aim is to offer a differentiated customer experience that goes beyond existing practices of paying in cash or by bank transfer. As it attempts digital transformation in a new area, it closely reviewed, in collaboration with card issuers and payment gateway providers, matters such as scrutiny of the payment structure and limit approval procedures to ensure stable service delivery.
The new system supports a unified set of payment methods. In paying brokerage fees, customers can use major easy-payment options such as Toss Pay, Kakao Pay, and Naver Pay, as well as credit and debit cards. Instead of having to prepare large amounts of cash immediately for fees that range from several million won to tens of millions of won or more, they can pay in installments or other reasonable ways. They can also take individual card spending records and benefits into account.
UX/UI focused on customer convenience is another strength. Wolgeupjaengi Bujadeul designed the system so that, on the payment screen, users can see at a glance the rate-based calculated amount, applied discounts, VAT, and other grounds for cost calculations. By presenting the calculation basis, itemization, and final amount transparently, it clarifies the transaction flow and preempts potential confusion or misunderstandings in settlement.
The new functionality is also expected to boost the work efficiency of the affiliated licensed real estate agents within the company. Because payments and settlement can be processed end to end within the platform without separate offline terminals or external solutions, the operational management process can be streamlined.
Lee Jeong-hwan, CEO of Wolgeupjaengi Bujadeul, said, “This payment system development is a strategic attempt to drive customer-centric digital transformation (DX) within the Wolgeupjaengi Bujadeul solution ecosystem,” and added, “We will continue to advance our technology to complete an O2O (Online to Offline) solution that delivers a differentiated brand experience in the proptech domain.”
Guhaejwo Naejip is a proptech solution that provides customized brokerage services. Wolgeupjaengi Bujadeul released a beta version in August and has been operating it since. It assigns a dedicated expert based on factors such as the asset size, areas of interest, preferred floor-area range, and site visit history of each customer to provide a brokerage experience optimized to the individual.
Customers can work with a specialist through the entire home-buying process, from the initial consultation and property search to site visits and finalizing the contract. Personnel assigned to the service are licensed real estate agents affiliated with Wolgeupjaengi Bujadeul who have been vetted based on field experience and performance; they accompany customers through property visits and the final contract, leading tasks such as verifying listings and negotiating terms.
