Christmas excitement has swept the music scene. Leading K-pop artists such as band DAY6, Chungha, and GOT7's Jinyoung are each releasing season songs and engaging with fans. With a flood of diverse content, December is already shaping up to be a treat for the ears.

DAY6 will release a season song for the first time since their debut. The Christmas special single ‘Lovin’ the Christmas’(Lovin’ the Christmas), to be released on the 15th, is a number that Wonpil participated in crafting, unfolding DAY6's uniquely warm, heart-fluttering Christmas sensibility. A 1960s-70s Motown sound maximizes the song's vintage vibe, while lyrics that capture a pounding mood over a sparkling melody deliver Christmas's signature soft, fuzzy feeling. Young K is credited as a lyricist. Along with the season song release, DAY6 will also hold the ‘The Present’(The Present) concerts at KSPO Dome from the 19th to the 21st.

Chungha also gifted fans a season song. Released on the 5th via online music platforms, the Christmas digital single ‘Christmas Again’(Christmas Again) is her second Christmas single following last year. Including the title track ‘Christmas Again’, it contains four songs in total, including another title track ‘It‘s That Time of Year’, ‘Sleigh’, and ‘There Goes Santa Claus!’. ‘Christmas Again’ is a Christmas song that embraces a cozy winter sensibility over a warmly swaying 6/8 rhythm. Looking back on an emotional year, it conveys the relief and excitement of feeling as if you've returned home through Chungha's emotive vocals.

Jinyoung of GOT7, who is also active as an actor, has also released a solo season song for fans. Released on the 10th, ‘Christmas Fever’(Christmas Fever) is a track that unpacks the unique year-end flutter and pure-white winter in a lovely melody. Jinyoung took part in writing the lyrics himself, delivering to listeners the warm emotions of the year-end and Christmas, and an irrepressible thrill that bursts out like a sudden cough.

ASTRO's MJ is also preparing a carol to commemorate Christmas. His new digital single ‘12:25 (CLOCK)’(CLOCK), set for release on the 16th, is his first new song in about four years since the 2021 single ‘Happy Virus’(Happy Virus), making it particularly meaningful. A song that will fully convey the mood of Christmas and a warm winter, a portion of its audio was first revealed in the ‘MJ 2026 Special Kit [CLOCK]’ video released on the 28th of last month, further heightening fans' excitement.

In addition, fromis_9 remade Kim Min-Jong's 2001 hit ‘White Longing’ and is receiving great love. On the day of release, it entered at No. 17 on the Spotify Korea Top Songs Daily chart and No. 67 on the Melon Top 100 chart, and by continuing its steady rise, it reached No. 24 on the Melon Top 100 chart on the 10th.

Additionally, All Hours' ‘White Christmas’, and FIFTY FIFTY's ‘‘Making Christmas Magical’(Making Christmas Magical) are also being embraced as new winter season songs.
