Paradise chosen by La Liste, Forbes, and MICHELIN, proving global ‘mainstream appeal’

One of the 1,000 most exceptional hotels in the world, an F&B group that has sparked innovation in the culinary world, and a ‘must-stay’ where art and entertainment converge. There is an integrated resort that embodies all these descriptors. It is Paradise City, located in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, the gateway to South Korea.
Paradise Group is seeing its hospitality capabilities recognized on the global stage. Beyond its core gaming business, global assessments of the overall hospitality operations of Paradiseincluding hotels and food and beveragehave risen sharply. These achievements have come in less than a decade since Paradise City opened in 2017.
This year, the French global gastronomy and hotel guide La Liste selected Paradise City as one of the TOP 1000 hotels worldwide. In addition, various global hotel guides have continued to praise Paradise City, placing it shoulder to shoulder with leading luxury hotels around the world.
La Liste evaluates hotels by combining its own assessment with publications and online reviews worldwide. Paradise City scored 93.5 out of 100. It ranks sixth among domestic hotels and highest among resorts. This marks the first time Paradise City has been included in the La Liste World TOP 1000 Hotels.
La Liste also rated Paradise highly in gastronomy. In November, at the ‘La Liste 2026 Paris’ awards ceremony held in Paris, France, Paradise Group received a Special Prize for the ‘Innovation Award (Innovation Award)’. The honor is given to chefs or restaurant operators who have shifted the direction of the culinary world through new and creative business ideas.
In particular, Paradise continues efforts to elevate Korean fine dining to a world-class level. In August, it established ‘Culinary Lab by Paradise (Culinary Lab by Paradise)’ within the group and, together with MICHELIN Three-Star chef Kang Min-Goo, pursued innovation in gastronomy, an effort cited as representative.

The travel ratings authority ‘Forbes Travel Guide’ and the MICHELIN Guide, which began hotel evaluations this year, also took notice of Paradise City.
Forbes Travel Guide gave high marks to the diverse artworks and excellent dining service at Paradise City, awarding ‘Four-Star’ for the sixth consecutive year. Art Paradiso, the luxury boutique hotel at Paradise City, received Four-Star for the second straight year.
Regarding Paradise City, Forbes Travel Guide said, “A work of art in its own right, it infuses an art- and design-centric sensibility throughout its vast spaces” and “a hotel that offers a unique retreat where art and entertainment harmonizea must-stay.”
In October, the MICHELIN Guide awarded Art Paradiso a ‘1 Key’, signifying ‘a very special stay’. Unlike the restaurant ‘Stars’, the MICHELIN Key evaluates the overall lodging experience, assigning ratings based on comprehensive hospitality factors such as design, service, and location. Only eight hotels in South Korea have earned a MICHELIN Key through this rigorous evaluation.
Paradise City, the first art-tainment integrated resort in South Korea, continues to strengthen its art content to secure hospitality competitiveness. Representative art content includes more than 3,000 artworks on display throughout the resort and exhibitions at the Paradise Art Space gallery.
Recently, Paradise City has also established itself as a mecca for travel with music. This year alone, leveraging its comfortable integrated resort facilities, it hosted large-scale music festivals such as Asian Pop Festival, Sound Planet, and Medley Medley, leading a culture that combines music with hotel staycationsknown as ‘myucance’.
