# The ‘law peddler’ Ahn Nae-sang stands on the side of darkness with the three siblings Heo Hyeong-gyu-Baek Seung-hee-Oh Se-young!
Haenal Law Firm, a leading law firm in the country, amasses wealth by repeatedly engaging in trial fixing under the orders of Kang Shin-jin (Park Hee-soon), Chief Senior Judge for Criminal Affairs at the Seoul Central District Court. The firm head Yoo Sun-cheol (Ahn Nae-sang), together with his eldest son and attorney Yoo Jin-gwang (Heo Hyeong-gyu) and his second child Yoo Hana (Baek Seung-hee), burrows into the gaps of the law and builds a fortress of their own. The youngest daughter, Yoo Se-hee (Oh Se-young), who does not hold a lawyer license, marries Judge Lee Han-Young (Ji Sung), who seems clever and compliant, and wields influence throughout the judiciary. However, once Han-Young, who has returned to 10 years earlier, begins to point his blade at them, cracks appear within Haenal Law Firm, and attention turns to what moves they will make to stop this.
# Kim Tae-woo-Kim Byung-chun vs Jung Hee-tae-Jang Jae-ho, the court splits over Ji Sung and Park Hee-soon!
Inside the court, two forces collide around Han-Young and Shin-jin. Baek I-seok (Kim Tae-woo), Chief Judge of the Chungnam District Court, and Im Jeong-sik (Kim Byung-chun), who directly supervises Han-Young and serves as Chief Senior Judge for Criminal Affairs at the Chungnam District Court, steadfastly support Han-Young as he advances toward justice. By contrast, Kim Jin-han (Jung Hee-tae), a senior judge in the criminal division at the Seoul Central District Court and a close aide to Shin-jin, and Kim Yun-hyeok (Jang Jae-ho), a single judge at the Chungnam District Court who regards Lee Han-Young as a rival, take Shin-jin’s side and obstruct the realization of justice that Han-Young seeks. The battle over justice between Han-Young and Shin-jin spilling into the court is expected to heighten the drama’s excitement even more.
# Money is the shield! Kim Byung-gi and Kim Beop-rae of S Group, the enemies of Won Jin-ah !
Another axis that shakes Han-Young is S Group, the country’s top chaebol that treats the law lightly. The father and son Jang Yong-hyeon (Kim Byung-gi), chairman of S Group, and Jang Tae-sik (Kim Beop-rae), head of S Shopping, do not fear illegality because Shin-jin, who holds power over the judiciary, looks after them. However, prosecutor Kim Jin-a (Won Jin-ah) of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office, who is entangled with Tae-sik by a bitter past, keeps pressing him, and Han-Young, who is linked to that case, also tightens the noose around S Group. Attention focuses on what shock waves will be triggered by the clash between unrestrained evil and the good that has returned.
‘Judge Lee Han-Young’ is set to captivate viewers with a rich composition in which the interests of each character and faction are intertwined. The new MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘Judge Lee Han-Young’, expected to feature tightly woven development, will premiere on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 9:40 p.m.
