In ‘I am SOLO, Love Continues’, 18th class Young-cheol and 27th class Young-sik achieved real success with the ‘Romance A/S’.

On the ENA and SBS Plus broadcast on the 11th (Thu) of ‘I am SOLO, Love Continues’ (hereafter ‘I am SOLO, Love Continues’), 18th class Young-cheolTulip and 27th class Young-sikRose chose each other at the ‘Final Choice’, drawing a ‘happy ending’.

That day, 27th class Young-sik set out on a final date with Rose before the ‘Final Choice’. He asked, “Was the advice earlier about 24th class Young-sik perhaps something that came from Yongdam?” Next he showed reflection, saying, “That judgment is so right. If that came from Yongdam, I feel like I made a very big mistake.” He then declared, “Today I will try my best for Rose right up to the end.” Amid a calm mood, as they were driving to a restaurant, 27th class Young-sik asked Rose, who had come without a car, “Shall I drive you to the KTX station?” Rose declined, saying, “It is okay. I want to take the train and get home quickly.” 27th class Young-sik coolly answered, “Do as you wish,” but he felt hurt inside. A little later, they entered a famed spicy stew spot and quietly dated while each scooped food for themselves. After the date, Rose candidly told the production staff, “Choosing among the five men was easy, but he, 27th class Young-sik, feels like someone who is not the ideal type I want, so I am torn.”

27th class Young-ho and Lily began a ‘one-on-one date’ at a quiet sashimi restaurant. The owner sent over mulhoe on the house, and Young-ho, a ‘cucumber hater’, looked at the cucumbers in the dish, took a bite, and ultimately announced he was giving up. Tulip had final dates with 18th class Young-cheol and 24th class Young-su, both of whom were heading straight for her. 24th class Young-su declared, “Life is a series of opportunities and timing,” and, “I will seize the opportunity and capture the heart of Tulip, pulling her toward me.” However, by continuing to keep the conversation focused only on himself, he failed to capture the heart of Tulip. After his romance with Gentian ended, leaving him single again, 24th class Young-sik called 24th class Jung-suk and updated her on the situation, saying, “I have no regrets. I told her goodbye.” 24th class Jung-suk comforted him, saying, “You have grown a lot.” In an interview with the production team, 24th class Young-sik said calmly, “I think I did the big things I set my mind to do. I had deep conversations, and I did not cry.”

Around the same time, 27th class Young-su told 24th class Young-su that Rose had turned down his offer to give her a ride, confessing, “I do not know whether I should make a Final Choice.” Just then, Rose came to see 27th class Young-sik. Rose began, “I am wondering whether you are someone who has the parts I want,” and brought up again her talk about a ‘man who envelops me’. At last, on the ‘Final Choice Day’, 18th class Young-cheol and Tulip checked how each of them felt during a morning walk. 24th class Young-su also called Tulip out and appealed, “Please give your one precious vote of heart to 24th class Young-su.” Furthermore, recalling the first impression choice when he held a bouquet of tulips in his arms, 24th class Young-su hinted, “I would like to try a light hug,” but Tulip declined, saying, “I feel uncomfortable.” After their talk, 24th class Young-su suggested he would forgo the Final Choice, saying, “It does not seem that repeating something n times raises the exam pass rate.”

In the ‘Final Choice’, two couples succeeded in becoming ‘final couples’: 18th class Young-cheolTulip and 27th class Young-sikRose. 27th class Young-ho chose Lily in the end, but Lily declined, saying, “I am not yet strongly attracted on a romantic level.” 24th class Young-sik shared his thoughts, saying, “I will hold these precious memories in my heart and grow into a better person,” and Yongdam shed tears, saying, “I am sorry that I seemed to push my own definition. However, there was not a single lie in my feelings for 24th class Young-sik. I will continue to support 24th class Young-sik as a fan.”

Both 18th class Young-cheol and 24th class Young-su chose Tulip. Overwhelmed with gratitude and apology, Tulip burst into tears and then headed straight to 18th class Young-cheol. Receiving the choice from Tulip, 18th class Young-cheol hugged her and was delighted. Next, Chrysanthemum gave up the Final Choice, saying, “Let us all stay close.” 27th class Young-sik exuded his ‘Tetonam’ charm, saying, “Rose, I will show you what a man is outside. Trust me and follow along~” Rose responded, “Treat me well so I do not wither, oppa.” Immediately after, 27th class Young-sik shouted, “I will do my best so that we can marry,” and 18th class Young-cheol beamed, saying, “I am getting proper A/S and heading out,” with a cheek-splitting smile.
