With an album that once again showcases his musical evolution, Kang Daniel will close out 2025.

The special album ‘PULSEPHASE‘, released today (12th), is the result. For the first time since his debut, he took part not only in writing the lyrics for every track but also in composing and producing. He has consistently been credited for lyric writing, but this time he leads the production and composition of all tracks, fully unfolding a musical world that is entirely his own.

From album planning to track sequencing, Kang Daniel devoted meticulous care. He presents a variety of music untethered to any single genre, including Moombahton, EDM, Dancehall, and Pop. On top of bright melodies, he adds candid and emotive messages. Every track on the album faithfully captures the inspirations he drew while experiencing different cities during his world tour this year.

It is also notable that every track features English lyrics. A total of five songs are included, including the title track ’BACKSEAT PROMISES‘. Timed with the digital release, a track video for the title song will also be unveiled. The video, too, carries even more special meaning as ideas from Kang Daniel guide its overall direction. In the previously released teaser, sensuous colors and atmospheres intersect, raising expectations.

The first performance will be revealed the following day, the 13th, at the fan concert ‘RUNWAY : WALK TO DANIEL’. By presenting the stage of the special new album for the first time in this symbolic setting, it further underscores its sincerity and value.
