Song Baek-kyung of 1TYM expressed anger toward YG Entertainment and Yang Hyun-suk.

On the 12th, on his social networking service (SNS) Instagram story, he wrote, “Looking at singers from SM, both H.O.T and the Shinhwa members, no matter how much time passes, they never forget to attach the honorific ‘teacher’ when addressing the ‘dae’ senior Lee Soo-man,” and added, “It is truly heartwarming to see. As for what I call it, ‘Su. U. Mi. Yang. Ga.’”

It is interpreted as a post criticizing Yang Hyun-suk, effectively the head of YG.

His targeting did not stop there. He uploaded posts in succession with the same intent. He also mentioned singer Park Bom, who recently staged the ‘Yang Hyun-suk complaint mishap’.

Song said, “Hey, Park Bom, if you are going to mock, you should do it with composure like an older brother does; what is this ‘64272ejo pay it back’,” and, “Up to the fifth album of 1TYM, the contract deposit was 5 million won, and even if they gave ○bal 50 million won I would have hesitated; from when they suggested doing it for 5 million won with nothing added, I once said this company is a ‘den’ and I would not do it.”

Then he continued, “I do not know what ‘64272e trillion won’ even means, but if it seems there is money you did not receive, calculate it calmly and claim it again,” and, “Get a grip, Park Bom.”

He continued to reveal hostility toward YG and Yang Hyun-suk. Song wrote, “If there are still sae○ who are on the payroll of the Mangwon-dong ‘Su-U-Mi-Yang-Ga’ and connected, if any among my in-chin (Instagram friends) still remain, cut off friendship with me first,” and, “I have already blocked everyone related to that side and also blocked their contacts, but I think there is someone I forgot.

Song stated, “They will most likely, with a one thousand percent probability, just let it pass with no reaction and no response, but I am not the Song Baek-kyung from the old days whom you mistreated and looked down on,” and, “If you treat me like a ○, I can also act even more like a ○. Since it is Su-U-Mi-Yang-Ga, that was the initial guess, but strive more and at least reach U, Mi.”

Because Song Baek-kyung had shown affection toward YG and Yang Hyun-suk multiple times, his latest posts drew the attention of fans.

Song Baek-kyung has been active since 1998 as a member of 1TYM and an early YG artist. Although 1TYM has effectively been inactive since 2005, Song Baek-kyung remained as a YG producer. In June 2017, he appeared on the MBC variety program ‘Radio Star’ and once remarked, “I am indeed affiliated with YG, but at present there is no contract.”

In March 2019, after passing the 44th KBS open recruitment for voice actors, Song Baek-kyung switched to working full-time as a voice actor.
