Singer DKsoul (Kim Dong-gyu) is embarking on the path to pastoral ministry.

His agency, Kwon Young-chan Dotcom, shared an update on the 12th. Kim was accepted into the 2025 master's program in Worship Leading at the Graduate School of Worship and Praise Ministry at Seoul Jangsin University. He is currently active as a worship evangelist and plans to serve as a pastor in two years.

Kim will also continue his activities as a pop singer. In November, he released the single ‘Even If This Night Passes’ and the CCM single ‘Jesus' Merit’. He has also released his self-composed song ‘Love Memory’ for the soundtrack of the drama ‘Elegant Mother and Daughter’.

In 2014, at the recommendation of Professor Kwon Young-chan, a former comedian, he attended a church event and came to faith. On the 13th, he will attend the Christmas event of the incorporated association Single-Parent Family Love Association at Somang Church and hold a mini concert.

Kim debuted in 2012 through the KBS program ‘My Life's Last Audition’. In 2013, he won the grand prize at Russia's ‘White Moon International Song Festival’.
