At the ‘2025 AI Talent Festival Week’ hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to strengthen future industrial competitiveness, Assortrock (CEOs Park Min-seo and Noh Geun-seok), a game·AI convergence education institute, drew attention by presenting Unreal Enginebased graduation projects by SeSAC graduates.
Held around Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, the event brought together participants ranging from global companies such as Microsoft·Intel to domestic AI startups to share the latest technologies and industry trends.
The Assortrock booth was designed so that visitors could experience Unreal Engine projects created by young developers who had completed the program. The exhibits combined AI models and real-time data processing technologies with game logic, and were evaluated as concrete examples that presented the potential of converging AI with game engine technologies.
Mayor Oh Se-hoon also visited the venue. After attending the ‘Youth Employment Academy AI Talent Festival’ held on the 2nd at the DDP Art Hall, he visited the Assortrock booth and personally tried the graduates’ game projects. Encouraging the young developers, he said, “We will firmly establish a foundation for training practical AI talent.”
At this year’s event, the city also unveiled its future strategy, ‘Vision 2.0’, for the Youth Employment Academy. Mayor Oh said, “The Youth Employment Academy, which started in 2021 with two campuses in Yeongdeungpo·Geumcheon, has expanded to 25 districts this year,” adding, “We will elevate it into a hands-on talent hub that will make Seoul a global AI-leading city.”

The city also announced plans to expand dedicated campuses in partnership with global big tech companies and to strengthen training in new growth fields such as bio·fintech. In addition, a launch ceremony was held for the ‘Seoul AI Talent Alliance’, involving education·industry·research institutions, and a total of 31 institutions agreed to establish a cooperative framework.
Assortrock CEO Park Min-seo said, “We wanted to show that the skills learned in the SeSAC program lead to results that are actually playable,” adding, “We hope this becomes an opportunity for young people who want to work with AI and Unreal Engine to tangibly feel their growth potential on site.”
Including DDP, five campuses such as Gangnam·Yangcheon·Dongjak·Dongdaemun·Seocho were fully opened to the public for the first time over two days on the 4th~5th, and both a ‘Job Matching Day’ where job seekers and companies met directly and an AI hackathon were held. Mayor Oh sent a message of support to the hackathon participants, saying, “In the end, it is young people who will lead the Seoul of the future.”
