Actor Han Ji-eun won the honor of Best Supporting Actress at the ‘2025 Seoul International Film Awards’.

On the 10th, at the ‘2025 Seoul International Film Awards’ ceremony held at Halla Hall in Dragon City Hotel, Yongsan, Seoul, Han Ji-eun received the Best Supporting Actress award for the film ‘Hitman 2’.

The ‘2025 Seoul International Film Awards’ marked its 13th edition this year, and winners and winning works were selected from films released and works aired on OTT platforms between August 2024 and November 2025.

In the film ‘Hitman 2’, Han Ji-eun played Jeon Hae-in, a museum director who hides secrets behind a kind smile, delivering a powerful performance. She amplified the fun of the film with femme fatale appeal, action, and even sly comic acting, earning praise. Her memorable performance led to the honor of this award.

Called as the winner, Han Ji-eun took the stage and said, “I am so grateful for bestowing me with such a precious and valuable award.” She continued, “Like any profession, being an actor is not an easy path, but thanks to many seniors, including Teacher Lee Soon-jae whom we saw earlier, I feel we can move forward together with confidence,” and added, “I take this as an award of encouragement and support telling me to do even better, and I will become an actor who loves acting and film even more,” expressing a heartfelt resolve.

In 2025, Han Ji-eun has been active across film, television, and theater, charting a trajectory befitting a trending star. Following ‘Hitman 2’, which brought her the Best Supporting Actress award, she played a detective in the film ‘Only God Knows Everything’, taking on a key role in the story. She also showcased different charms in each project through the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Ask the Stars’ and the Tving original ‘Study Group’, and expanded her activities into Japan with the Korea-Japan co-produced drama ‘First Love DOGS’, jointly produced by Japan’s terrestrial network TBS and domestic studio Studio Dragon.

Through diverse works and challenges, Han Ji-eun is establishing herself as an even more influential actor. She is also set to present a new side in the upcoming film ‘Intern’, heightening expectations for her path.
