KBS 2TV ‘The Boss Has Donkey Ears’ (directed by Choi Seung-hee, hereafter ‘Sadang-gwi’) is a program where Korean bosses voluntarily practice role-reversal empathy and self-reflection to create workplaces worth working in. In episode 335 of ‘Sadang-gwi’, airing on the 14th (Sun), as Eom Ji-in, the MC of the audition ‘Challenge Dream Stage’ that produced Lim Young-woong, decides to compete herself, tone-deaf and off-beat Eom calls SOS to Seol Woon-do, her best friend from Morning Yard. Eom Ji-in, Nam Hyun-jong, and Kim Jin-woong head directly to Seol Woon-do’s Yangpyeong residence, a grand mansion where not a single stone should be looked at carelessly.
Seol Woon-do’s mansion is truly a ‘stone museum’. In the vast living room and kitchen, viewing stones are displayed in every corner, and there is even a separate room dedicated to them, astonishing everyone as one giant ‘stone museum’.

It is said that Seol Woon-do, gripping a spray bottle in one hand, spritzes water each time he explains a viewing stone, showing his special affection. From opal rough and emerald rough to golden pyrite and even bamboo fossils, it is truly a mineral collection. With more than 1,000 viewing stones worth hundreds of millions at market prices placed throughout the house, Seol Woon-do surprises by saying, “If you come to my house, you need about two days just to look around.” In response, special MC Dayoung says, “I do not think this is the time for me to be working on my body. I should go mine some stones right away,” drawing laughter. However, Seol Woon-do is said to have recalled difficult days, saying, “My wife wants to kick both me and the stones out of the house.”
In particular, for the tone-deaf and off-beat Eom Ji-in, Seol Woon-do introduces an energy stone from Madagascar called ‘Jaspa’. Holding the mysterious(?) secret said to grant vocal breakthroughs effortlessly, Eom Ji-in welcomes ‘Jaspa’ and begins grueling practice toward a vocal breakthrough with the stone placed on her abdomen.
