‘Incode-affiliated’ rookie actor Jung Saet-byeol has been cast in the tvN Sat-Sun drama ‘Pro Bono’.

‘Pro Bono’ is a human legal drama about a career-obsessed, snobbish judge who unintentionally becomes a public-interest lawyer and ends up confined to a corner room at a mega law firm, stuck in a zero-revenue pro bono team, leading to a series of chaotic events.

Jung plays ‘Jung So-min’, the mother of Kim Kang-hun, who uses a wheelchair due to a congenital disability, portraying a woman driven to the limits of life as she raises her disabled child alone.

In the special pre-release of episodes 3 and 4, a scene was revealed of Kang-hun visiting attorney Kang Da-wit (played by Jung Kyung-ho) to request representation, adding to the curiosity about what will happen to the two regarding the lawsuit involving her son.

Through the character ‘Jung So-min’, Jung is expected to portray a nuanced motherhood that cannot be defined as simply good or evil, further enhancing viewer immersion.

‘Pro Bono’, which premiered last week, has captivated home audiences from the outset with an exciting storyline. In particular, the full-fledged narrative and the chemistry among the actors are said to evoke both enjoyment and empathy.

Having emerged as a ‘talented newcomer of Chungmuro’, Jung recently announced an exclusive contract with Incode, and with ‘Pro Bono’ also on the slate, she plans to continue an active acting career.

Episode 3 of the tvN Sat-Sun drama ‘Pro Bono’, featuring Jung Saet-byeol, airs on the 13th.
