Fans of singer Lim Young-woong spread positive influence by volunteering to share lunchboxes with neighbors in need.
The Lim Young-woong fan club ‘Hero Era Band (Sharing Group)’ announced on the 12th that they carried out a lunchbox service that day for residents of a single-room housing area at the Catholic House of Love and Peace in Dongja-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
On this occasion, ‘Hero Era Band (Sharing Group)’ prepared ingredients worth $1,125 (1,500,000 KRW), made the lunchboxes themselves, and delivered them, putting sharing into practice.
This volunteer effort was the 79th since it began in May 2020, and as of that day the cumulative donations surpassed $75,000 (100,000,000 KRW). The Catholic House of Love and Peace presented a plaque of appreciation to ‘Hero Era Band (Sharing Group)’ for their long-standing donations and volunteer work, encouraging their good deeds.

Hero Era Band (Sharing Group)’ cooks and delivers lunchboxes at the Catholic House of Love and Peace on the second Thursday of every month. As a result of four years of steady activity, they have recorded a total of 79 volunteer sessions at this location alone.
‘Hero Era Band (Sharing Group)’ said, “Although it is not easy to volunteer from early in the morning, we feel a happiness greater than any reward when we pass on warm love to someone,” adding, “We will continue to practice love for our neighbors and keep sharing.”
