As entertainer Park Na-rae faces allegations of illegal medical procedures, testimony has emerged from an unlicensed practitioner known as ‘IV Aunt’ A. Following suspicions that she traveled to Taiwan with ‘Injection Aunt’ B, another indication of unlicensed procedures has surfaced, leaving her cornered.

On the 15th, Munhwa Ilbo released the contents of a call from the 10th with A, who is suspected of performing illegal medical acts for Park Na-rae. A, nicknamed ‘IV Aunt’, is suspected of having provided an on-call IV infusion in July 2023 while Park Na-rae was staying at a hotel in Gimhae.

In the interview, A admitted to carrying out illegal medical acts. When asked, "Do you have a medical license?", A denied it, saying, "Not at all," and added, "Based on past experience working at a hospital, I obtained medication from a neighborhood pharmacy and provided procedures through word of mouth. I did it just to earn some side-dish money."

However, A drew a line regarding whether any procedure was performed on Park Na-rae. Even though Park Na-rae's former manager disclosed a text message showing A's account number and the procedure fee, A said, "The phone number and account are mine," but also stated, "I know who Park Na-rae is, but I do not remember whether I treated her at all."

Allegations of illegal procedures surrounding Park Na-rae continue to erupt. On the 13th, Channel A reported that during the November 2023 Taiwan shoot for MBC ‘I Live Alone’, Park Na-rae brought along another unlicensed practitioner, ‘Injection Aunt’ B, without production approval. Specific details also emerged that she told her manager, "This will cause problems, so do not tell the company or anyone outside," to keep things quiet.

The key issue is whether ‘intent’ can be proven. In the case of SHINee's Onew, who is said to have received treatment from ‘Injection Aunt’ B, he explained that "given the size of the clinic, it was hard to recognize she was unlicensed." In Park Na-rae's case, however, the detail that she said during the Taiwan shoot that it "would be a problem" could be fatal, as it suggests she may have recognized the illegality.

Despite the cascading allegations of illegal procedures, Park Na-rae's agency has not issued any further stance. Previously, on the 7th, her agency JDB Entertainment and her legal representative denied illegal procedures, stating that it was "a lawful house call, not illegal." The next day, on the 8th, Park Na-rae apologized via her personal SNS, saying she would "suspend broadcasting activities until everything is neatly resolved." However, she has not mentioned whether illegal procedures occurred.
