Bunnies, the NewJeans fandom, demanded to know why the formalization of NewJeans as a full lineup is being delayed.
On the 15th, Bunnies issued a statement demanding, “ADOR must immediately fulfill its basic duty to protect the artists.”
In the statement, they said, “On November 12, pursuant to the court’s decision, all NewJeans members returned to ADOR, yet ADOR (CEO Lee Do-kyung) has been delaying the formalization of the full lineup for over a month,” and demanded that “ADOR abandon its two-faced stance that shakes the foundation of NewJeans’s activities and fulfill its fundamental duties as the agency.”

They argued that ADOR has, for over a month, delayed formalizing the full NewJeans lineup and maintained an ambiguous stance, thereby allowing all kinds of speculation and irresponsible speculative reports to spread, neglecting its duty to protect the members, and creating a paradoxical situation in which the agency itself holds the artists back.
Below is the full text of Bunnies’ statement.
On November 12, pursuant to the court’s decision, all NewJeans members expressed their intention to return to ADOR.
Although the return that HYBE and ADOR had so long desired became reality, what came back was only the company’s ambiguous stance and distorted media play. The irresponsible, speculative reports spawned by this are pushing the artists into the center of public opinion.
One cannot invoke an agency’s rights while neglecting the duty to protect the artists. Bunnies, fans of NewJeans, strongly denounce this paradoxical situation in which the agency instead holds the artists back.
Even now, we demand that you drop the double standards that undermine the artists’ foundation for activities and fulfill the agency’s essential duties.
1.Immediately fulfill the basic duty of protecting the artists
HYBE and ADOR assert the agency’s exclusive rights; why then do you neglect the accompanying duty of protection?
Guaranteeing and protecting the personal rights of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein is the first step to restoring trust and an essential promise that the agency must honor. Implement immediate, visible measures that can protect them from all factors that threaten the artists’ dignity.
2.Stop irresponsible inaction and wasteful public-opinion warfare
Over the past year and six months, more than 66,600 articles have poured out. While the artists were under an indiscriminate barrage of public opinion, the agency effectively left it unattended and clearly abandoned its duties.
Do not condone any longer the reverse-viral campaigns and the creation of distorted frames carried out under the company’s lukewarm stance.
Silence and inaction amount to complicity in the harm.
3. Transparent disclosure of legal response outcomes
What specific measures are being taken against channels that systematically generate malicious rumors (X, YouTube, etc.)? Rather than performative responses, transparently disclose tangible sanctions that fans can accept, such as identifying perpetrators, the status of complaints filed, and account closures.
We, Bunnies, send unwavering support to the five membersMinji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyeinunder any circumstances. As they have endured difficulties for a long time while continuing their activities, we will stay by the five members with even firmer resolve to the very end.
We strongly urge the agency to take a responsible stance and transparent measures so that the NewJeans members can focus entirely on their activities without any interference. Stop now the contradiction of isolating the artists while invoking only the pretext of being the agency.
