‘Detailwoo’ YouTube screen capture
Actor Kim Il-woo is ushering in a second heyday as he moves between variety shows and YouTube.
On the 12th, Kim Il-woo launched his personal YouTube channel ‘Detailwoo’ and released its first episode. Currently appearing on Channel A variety show ‘Men These Days – Groom Class’, where he has shown the qualities of a "ready first-place groom prospect", he this time presented the unvarnished everyday life of the "real Kim Il-woo" through YouTube.
The first video captured him heading out to sea before dawn to catch octopus. Early in the voyage, seeing empty pots during the octopus haul, he grew timid, saying, "It feels like it is my fault." He then hauled up his first giant octopus and suddenly struck a commanding pose, drawing attention.
After returning to land, Kim Il-woo showed a sense of emptiness. He stopped by a grocery to eat breakfast. He confided to the shop owner, "Out of 180 pots, there was only one octopus," and, "They told me to take it, but I felt sorry, so I could not." He then said, "I had set out with a dream of a full hold," letting out a wry laugh that made viewers laugh.
‘Detailwoo’ is a channel that captures Kim Il-woo living for a while away from city routines in spaces close to nature. On "Men These Days – Groom Class", he drew admiration with neat and meticulous housekeeping skills, whereas on ‘Detailwoo’ he will show the side of a "man of nature" and offer fresh enjoyment to fans.
Through his agency D.A.Y Entertainment, Kim Il-woo said, "Beyond what I have shown on broadcasts, I wanted to share the small daily life of living as a second-year resident in a seaside village," and added, "Together with my dog Mari, I will share stories of finding small happiness in life."
Meanwhile, ‘Detailwoo’, which captures his seaside life, can be watched weekly on YouTube.
