The blur on actor Lee Byung-hun has been lifted.
On the 15th, the YouTube channel ‘Lee Min-jung MJ’ posted a video titled “Finally unblurring Lee Byung-hun.” In the released video, Lee Byung-hun made a brief appearance on ‘Lee Min-jung MJ’ to celebrate the channel reaching 500,000 subscribers.
In the video, Lee Byung-hun said, “Congratulations on MJ YouTube surpassing 500,000. Now that there is no blur, I am greeting you in full hair and makeup,” and added, “I hope MJ YouTube continues to grow and bring joy to many people. Fighting.”
What stood out was that Lee Byung-hun was unblurred. Until now, when appearing on the ‘Lee Min-jung MJ’ channel, he had shown up with his face blurred due to issues such as portrait rights. However, after Lee Min-jung set ‘Unblur Lee Byung-hun’ as a pledge for reaching 500,000 subscribers, the change was made in this video.
Lee Min-jung, however, explained, “Regarding the 500,000 pledge to unblur Mr. BH, an actor’s portrait rights are more important than my pledge, so respecting his views, we decided to proceed with optional blurring for his comfort,” adding, “If there is a moment when he wants the blur removed, he will do so.”
