‘Kissed for No Reason!’ is set to unleash a flurry of romantic scenes between Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin.
The SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Kissed for No Reason!’ (written by Ha Yoon-a, Tae Kyung-min / directed by Kim Jae-hyun, Kim Hyun-woo / produced by Studio S, Samhwa Networks) is drawing explosive reactions at home and abroad. Domestically, it has ranked No. 1 among weekday dramas across all channels for five consecutive weeks. On the OTT platform Netflix, it entered the global TOP 3 in its first week on air, climbed to global No. 2 in the second week, and took global No. 1 in both the third and fourth weeks, continuing an unbraked hit run.
At the center of this explosive popularity of ‘Kissed for No Reason!’ are the leads Gong Ji-hyeok (played by Jang Ki-yong) and Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin), who at times thrill, at times flutter, and at times ache viewers’ hearts. Meanwhile, on December 16, ahead of the broadcasts of episodes 11 and 12, the production team of ‘Kissed for No Reason!’ drew attention by unveiling romantic two-shots of Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim. In the photos, the two are alone together. Perhaps because of the falling rain, through the streaked window we see Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim facing each other, hands clasped tightly. Gong Ji-hyeok’s gaze as he looks softly at Go Da-rim and Go Da-rim shyly lowering her head stir up fluttering feelings.
Regarding this, the production team said, “In episodes 11 and 12 airing this week, Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim’s full-fledged office romance begins.
