Entertainer Park Na-rae, who faces various allegations including ‘manager power abuse’, is reported to have completed her first police questioning. She also filed additional complaints against former managers on suspicion of embezzlement.

According to Munhwa Ilbo on the 23rd, Park Na-rae appeared at Seoul Yongsan Police Station on the 19th and was questioned as the complainant behind closed doors. Appearing late at night when few people were around, she gave a statement for about six hours.

The former manager accused of attempted extortion was reportedly questioned on the 20th.

This was Park Na-rae's first police questioning. It concerned the case in which she accused her former manager; she has not yet been questioned in the cases where complaints have been filed against her.

The Seoul Gangnam Police are investigating, among other matters, allegations such as special injury·defamation raised by the former manager against Park Na-rae, as well as a case in which Lim Hyun-taek, former president of the Korean Medical Association, filed a complaint against Park and ‘injection aunt’ Ms. A.

In addition, on the 20th Park Na-rae filed additional complaints against two former managers on suspicion of occupational embezzlement. She is said to have detected indications that a former manager established a private corporation and that funds were siphoned off to that private entity.

Meanwhile, the former managers also moved to provisionally attach a home owned by Park Na-rae. On the 3rd, claiming that while employed they suffered workplace harassment from Park including verbal abuse and special injury, they applied to the Seoul Western District Court for a provisional attachment of real estate.

Park Na-rae is also embroiled in suspicions that she received illegal medical procedures from Ms. A. She has stepped down from all programs in which she appeared and has temporarily suspended her activities.
