Jeon Mira, the wife of singer Yoon Jong-shin, offered an apology to fans regarding the sudden cancellation of the concert.
On the 25th, through her Instagram Story, she said, “To the fans who took precious time to secure tickets, I sincerely apologize that, because the condition of my husband declined, the concert faced unforeseen disruption,” and added, “We prepared so much for the concert, and as someone watching from close by yet unable to offer any help, my heart is heavy and I feel saddened.”
She continued, “Thank you for your understanding, and thank you as well for waiting for the next time,” and stated, “We will prepare well again and, as soon as possible, present an even better concert; I too will do my utmost to support that.”
That day, Yoon Jong-shin said, “Six days ago, symptoms of a cold accompanied by bronchitis arose suddenly, so I received five days of intensive treatment and pushed ahead with the performance yesterday,” adding, “However, the condition of my vocal cords was so poor that, although we spent about two hours together, I was unable to deliver a good performance.”
He went on, “When I woke up this morning, my condition had not improved, so I concluded that I could not show you a good concert. Therefore, I am canceling the remaining concert dates.”
