Actor Son Ye-jin posted a proof shot of the ‘Cheongeopsal’ she received from broadcaster Lee Young-ja.

On the 28th, Son Ye-jin posted a video of pork belly grilling to her social media (SNS) account along with the caption “I enjoyed the Cheongeopsal.”

‘Cheongeopsal’ is pork belly scored with a thousand cuts to bring out its grain, and it was the dish that Lee Young-ja served to Hyun Bin on the MBC variety program ‘Omniscient Interfering View’ (hereafter ‘Jeonchamsi’) that aired on the 27th.

On that broadcast, Hyun Bin could not hide his amazement as he watched Cheongeopsal grilling on a cauldron lid together with siraegi, whole garlic, and geotjeori, and after tasting it he said, “The ratio of fat to lean seems good. The flavor from the fat is savory,” expressing admiration.

When Lee Young-ja asked, “There are seven pieces of meat; who wants one?”, Hyun Bin immediately raised his hand and took the pork belly, and it appears that Son Ye-jin tasted that Cheongeopsal and then posted proof of it.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are the same age, both born in 1982; they married in 2022 and have a son. The two became connected through the film ‘The Negotiation’ and the drama ‘Crash Landing on You’, and Son Ye-jin recently returned to the big screen after seven years with the new film ‘Eojjeol Su-ga Eopda’ by director Park Chan-wook.
