Comedian Lee Chang-ho is returning to the ‘Gag Concert’ stage for the first time in a while with his alter-ego ‘Lee Taek-jo’.
On the KBS2 ‘Gag Concert’ airing on the 28th (hereafter Gag Concert), Lee Chang-ho took to his home stage. That day, he appears in the segment ‘Angry People’ as his alter-ego Lee Taek-jo, teaming up with Shin Yun-seung and Park Min-seong, among others.
‘Angry People’ unfolds against the backdrop of a chicken baeksuk specialty restaurant on a mountainside. Shin Yun-seung, the ‘King of Nuisances,’ makes absurd demands there and gets into a war of words with part-timer Park Min-seong. In the end, when Park Min-seong refuses to yield even a single word, he calls his friend Lee Taek-jo (Lee Chang-ho), drawing attention.
Lee Taek-jo, a character featured in the popular content ‘Hansarang Hiking Club’ on the YouTube channel ‘Pisik University,’ also drew laughs in ‘Angry People’ with a realistic middle-aged man performance. In particular, although he took the stage as a close friend of Shin Yun-seung, his talk left Shin flustered, making it unclear whether he was an ally or an adversary.
In the year’s final ‘Gag Concert,’ the segment ‘A Song You Know’ will feature Jeon In-kwon’s ‘Do Not Worry, Dear.’ Through this stage, ‘Gag Concert’ plans to wrap up 2025.
The year-end special ‘Gag Concert’ can be seen on KBS2 at 9:20 p.m. on the 28th.
