Actor Jeon Jong-seo shared her thoughts on appearing in a film together with Han So-hee.

In an interview with Sports Kyunghyang held at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 9th, Jeon spoke about the intense time she lived as Do-kyung in the film ‘Project Y’ and the passionate camaraderie she shared with her partner Han So-hee.

Working in sync with a close actress friend was an unfamiliar yet precious experience for Jeon. She began, “It is rare to have the chance to shoot a project with a fellow actress the same age,” and continued, “The emotions I felt as we struggled through filming on those cold days are exactly how I feel now. So-hee used the term ‘a timely bond’ yesterday, and I think this work will remain that way for me as well,” expressing her affection.

Having often carried a story alone with an intense presence, Jeon focused on ‘balance’ in this project. She said, “Up to now, I have done a lot of acting alone. But when this film ends, I wanted Do-kyung and Mi-seon to be remembered together,” adding, “I hoped our balance would be the same, and I acted with the feeling of us holding hands, running, and walking together.”

The set was not easy. Under tight schedules and limited conditions, the two actors leaned on each other and endured. Jeon recalled, “We are both artists with strong identities, but in terms of acting it was very hectic. Because it was not a relaxed situation, we had to rally desperately.” She continued, “Han So-hee showed a very professional side. It was a situation where if either of us became exhausted, it would get tough, and I remember many moments I was grateful for,” expressing trust in her partner.

Meanwhile, the film ‘Project Y’ is a buddy movie that depicts the perilous journey of two friends, Mi-seon (Han So-hee) and Do-kyung (Jeon Jong-seo), who try to steal hidden black money and gold bars to escape a rock-bottom reality. It opens on the 21st.
