Singer Sukhaeng, embroiled in an adultery allegation. Her own Instagram account

Singer Sukhaeng, identified as the alleged other woman, is said to have embarked on full-fledged legal action.

According to Star News, the Seongnam branch of the Suwon District Court canceled the ruling pronouncement date set for the 15th in the damages claim that the wife of the married man embroiled in the adultery allegation filed against Sukhaeng.

This comes as Sukhaeng retained legal representation and moved to respond. After the complaint was filed last September, the court had indicated a judgment without pleadings due to her failure to submit an answer, prompting her to appoint an attorney on the 7th.

With counsel retained, the court is expected to reschedule a future hearing date.

Sukhaeng has been engulfed in allegations of an affair with a married man. The wife claimed on the JTBC current affairs program ‘Case Chief’ on the 29th of last month that her runaway husband had lived with Sukhaeng. She also released CCTV (closed-circuit television) footage showing the husband and Sukhaeng hugging and kissing inside an elevator.

Sukhaeng protested that she was being wronged. On the 30th of last month, on her social networking service (SNS) Instagram, she posted, “I will clarify all the facts through legal procedures in due course,” and, “I will step down from the program I was appearing on so that the program will suffer no further harm.”
