Kim Kwang-gyu’s 60th-birthday doljanchi took place.
On the 10th broadcast of the MBC variety show ‘What Do You Do When You Play?’, a doljanchi was held for Lee Gwang-gyu, who turned 60.
Upon hearing about the 60th-doljanchi that day, Kim Kwang-gyu screamed, “No!” Yoo Jae-suk offered congratulations, saying, “At 60, this is truly a big occasion.” Haha, Joo Woo-jae, and Heo Kyung-hwan quickly changed Kim Kwang-gyu’s clothes. Wearing a custom dolbok and seated at the doljanchi table, Kim Kwang-gyu reacted, “For the first time since I was born, I am sitting here; it kind of feels like an ancestral rites table.”
After taking a solo photo, Yoo Jae-suk said, “The second part of the doljanchi is our baby’s video segment,” and added, “We prepared a video that captures the history and growth of 60 years.”
Joo Woo-jae said, “Does it start in black and white?” and black-and-white photos did indeed appear. As they moved past his cute childhood to his high school days, when his hair was abundant, Haha’s eyes widened in shock. Heo Kyung-hwan said, “He looks great; he looked best in high school.” Then, as it moved on through his twenties and military days, Joo Woo-jae shouted, “He has hair!”
Scenes then followed of Kim Kwang-gyu’s 27-year acting career and him smiling with his aged mother. Reflecting on the video, Kim Kwang-gyu said, “It brings back memories. It went by in a flash.”
Yoo Jae-suk said, “Earlier, in your adolescent days,” and Heo Kyung-hwan exclaimed, “In high school, you were no joke!” Kim Kwang-gyu showed confidence, saying, “In high school I had a lot of hair, so I was kind of okay.” Joo Woo-jae said, “It is a bit exotic.”
