So Ju-yeon found the truth that Jung Kyung-ho had been trying to reveal.

In episode 11 of tvN ‘Pro Bono’ aired on the 10th, Park Gippeum (So Ju-yeon) revisits past case files to find the real truth at the request of Yoo Jae-beom (Yeon Je-uk), who asks her to uncover the truth. Saying she has not yet met the most important person, Park Gippeum goes to see the vocational high school trainee’s mother.

Park Gippeum learns from the mother that the photo of the trainee’s cup noodles, which had caused a public stir at the time, was in fact something the trainee had prepared to eat. Hwang Jun-woo (Kang Hyung-seok) voices his dissatisfaction with the team and acts as a spy.

At the hearing, Park Gippeum steps forward to question the factory manager, pressing that the statute of limitations for the case has expired and that lying now would constitute perjury. The factory manager finally confesses that, on the president’s orders, he locked the side door. The vocational high school trainee died with all limbs broken while trying to get out through the locked door.

Kang Da-wit (Jung Kyung-ho) says this is the truth he did not manage to uncover to the end back then, and asks for judgment on whether handing down the maximum sentence was his conscience as a legal professional or his personal desire for revenge.
