Returning on the 14th, TV CHOSUN “Dad and Me Season 3” will feature the family story of former basketball star Hyun Joo-yeop.

In the Episode 1 teaser, former basketball star Hyun Joo-yeop, who became embroiled in allegations of dereliction of duty and abuse of power at the school where he was serving as head coach of the basketball team, said, “It seems Jun-hee went through the hardest time,” expressing his sorrow for his firstborn son.

The eldest, Jun-hee, decided to take a leave from his first year of high school and is even taking psychiatric medication due to insomnia, shortness of breath, and nightmares following his father’s case. Although Hyun Joo-yeop revealed his remorse toward his son, Jun-hee said, “It doesn’t matter,” showing that his heart had closed even to his father, eliciting sympathy.

Meanwhile, upon hearing the news, close friend Ahn Jung-hwan visited Hyun Joo-yeop. Hyun said, “Jun-hee has taken a leave of absence,” sharing an update that his son had shut himself off from the world. In response, Ahn scolded him, saying, “He ended up like that because of you.” He also said cautiously, “Right now, his heart is probably locked tight with dozens of padlocks, so telling him to open it may not be right.”

Whether Hyun Joo-yeop can mend the conflict with his son and open his son’s heart will be revealed on the 14th at 10 p.m. on “Dad and Me Season 3.”
