‘Mr. House Husband’ left a deep afterglow in living rooms with Park Seo-jin’s Entertainment Awards behind-the-scenes and Takuya’s sincere confession about his family history.

On the broadcast of the 10th, KBS2 ‘Mr. House Husband’ featured “Kickflip” Gyehun as a special guest, and presented the story of the day after Park Seo-jin won the Top Excellence Award, the scene from his nationwide tour concert, and Takuya’s story as he visited his family home in Japan. That broadcast recorded a nationwide Nielsen Korea rating of 3.9%, and the impromptu dance battle between Park Seo-jin and his sister Park Hyo-jeong at the concert venue hit a peak of 6.5%.

He said, “I am working hard, taking on new stages and expanding the scale,” and devoted himself to rehearsals for his first nationwide tour concert since debut. At the Seoul concert revealed next, ‘Mr. House Husband’ official anchor stars, including Lee Min-woo’s mother and Ji Sang-ryeol’s sister-in-law, turned out in full force to offer solid support. In particular, Lee Min-woo’s seven-year-old eldest daughter visited the concert, causing surprise, and invited him with, “Uncle, please come visit our house,” giving a preview of Park Seo-jin’s upcoming childcare challenge.

Takuya told his younger sister, “I did not want to worry you, so I wanted to remain only as a cool older brother,” and for the first time laid out his difficulties in front of his family. His sister added to the emotion by offering solid support, saying, “As long as you go all the way and become something, that is enough.”

Takuya also recounted family circumstances stemming from his parents’ divorce when he was young, revealing that the father he currently lives with is his stepfather, and that his youngest sibling was born between his stepfather and mother.

Then Takuya recalled his last memory of his biological father, whose face he no longer even remembers. He said, “My last memory is hiding in the car trunk and crying, ‘Please take me too’,” sharing a heartbreaking story that brought a hush over the studio. Takuya said he is willing to meet his biological father, adding, “I am curious what kind of person he is. I want to show him that I have grown like this. I have a desire to show him who I am now.”

After a deep heart-to-heart with his younger sister, Takuya shed tears, tangled with gratitude and sorrow toward his family. He said, “It became a turning point that made me think I should work hard through ‘Mr. House Husband’ so that I can become the Takuya my family imagines,” and added, “I hope this becomes a chance to grow closer to my family and to become more honest.”
