Actor Won Ji-an shared her thoughts on the conclusion of ‘Waiting for Kyung-do’.

The JTBC Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Waiting for Kyung-do’, which ended on the 11th, is a romance about Lee Kyung-do (Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-an), who dated twice and broke up, reuniting as the reporter who broke an adultery scandal and the wife of the man at the center of that scandal, then going on to love both tenderly and intensely. Playing ‘Seo Ji-woo’the second daughter of Jarin Apparel who carries deep inner wounds despite a glamorous background, and Lee Kyung-do’s first loveWon Ji-an painted another life-defining character in her own colors, leaving her mark as a next-generation rom-com queen.

As I kept up with the live broadcasts, memories of the director, senior colleagues, and staff who worked so hard came flooding back, and even as I watched I felt only gratitude throughout, because it seemed I received so much help during the shoot,” expressing her affection for the project and deep gratitude. She continued, “I am also profoundly thankful to the viewers who watched ‘Waiting for Kyung-do’ through to the end and cheered for Kyung-do and Ji-woo. I hope this drama will remain comfortable and warm for a long time, and that even after the finale it can offer viewers a brief moment of rest.” Conveying her heartfelt thanks to the audience, she added her determined ambition: “Going forward, with gratitude, I want to devote myself even more and continue to grow.”
