Annie, a member of the group All Day Project, revealed why she decided to return to school.

On the 14th, through the fan platform ‘Weverse’, Annie explained the circumstances surrounding her return to school, saying, “I should have been the one to tell you first, but I did not expect an article to come out so suddenly.” She said, “Early last year, I was told I could not extend my leave of absence any further, so I informed the members and the company in advance and made the decision then.”

She continued, “I have worked hard and completed many credits, so if I attend only this semester, I will graduate right away,” and said, “Please do not worry and please wait just a little.” Even while staying in the United States, Annie said, “Because of my schedule, I will be coming to Korea once or twice a month,” adding, “I will miss you a lot.”

According to her agency ‘THEBLACKLABEL’, Annie will return to Columbia University for the spring semester that begins on the 20th and focus on her studies. Majoring in Art History and Visual Arts, she plans to stay in the United States and devote herself to her studies until the semester ends in May.

Annie is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Jung Yoo-kyung, and she is said to have enrolled at Columbia University to persuade her mother, who opposed her idol debut. Aside from Annie, the four All Day Project members Tarzan, Bailey, Woochan, and Youngseo are expected to focus on music work through the first half of the year while also pursuing individual activities.
