Wolf No. 2 appears perfect, but inside him the face of a wild dog rears its head.
Airing on the 14th, episode 2 of Channel A’s companion-dog rehabilitation reality show ‘The Hour Between Dog and Wolf 2’ reveals Wolf No. 2’s story. What hidden tale might this pet, who seems flawless at first glance, be hiding?
Walking in step beside his elderly guardian who has difficulty walking, and mingling freely with neighbors, Wolf No. 2 is a model dog famed in the neighborhood. Watching the walk, Kang Hyung-wook offers praise with a satisfied smile, calling it “a perfect walk.”
But the moment everyone relaxes, the atmosphere flips 180 degrees. Wolf No. 2 looks nothing short of perfect on the surface. Given a past accident that incurred about 30 million won in treatment costs, this twist is no light matter. As another side befitting a ‘descendant of a wild dog’ is foreshadowed in Wolf No. 2, who inherited DNA from both a Jindo and a wild dog, curiosity grows as to why he was nicknamed a two-faced ‘Asura dog.’
As the hidden sides of Wolf No. 2 emerge one by one, the smile fades from Kang Hyung-wook’s face and his expression gradually hardens. A subtle tension begins to pervade the scene.
‘The Hour Between Dog and Wolf 2’ goes beyond simple behavioral correction for companion dogs to closely examine the guardian’s attitudes and environment, the root causes of problem behaviors. It offers a three-step solution: initial feedback in the studio, close-in daily-life care, and continued support extending to the guardian’s actual residence.
Meanwhile, the Channel A companion-dog solution variety show ‘The Hour Between Dog and Wolf 2,’ hosted by Kim Sung-joo and Kang Hyung-wook with special MC Brian, airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m.
